This key position is responsible for driving Lean Transformation throughout their North American manufacturing plants, with a focus on the identification & elimination of waste and non-vale added activities. This Lean Manager is an absolutely critical part of their North American Continuous Improvement Leadership Team and is considered a stepping-stone position for advancement opportunities within the company. Job Requirements:Core responsibilities: Will have direct supervisory responsibility for Continuous Improvement Leaders and Lean Engineers Provide strong leadership to implement & sustain their Continuous Improvement strategy Is the catalyst for planning and execution of a Lean Transformation at manufacturing facilities located throughout North America, the bulk of which are located in the US. Teach, coach and mentor leadership and employees in Lean Manufacturing, utilizing the company's Lean Academy Strong focus on business performance results and key metrics in the elimination of waste Will serve as the change facilitator, collaborating and influencing site leadership to help drive a cultural change, constantly pushing leaders to be better Lead Kaizen events with a "hands-on" approach Champion effective on-going communication throughout the organization on the implementation of lean thinking and best practices to advance lean competencies Tracks, measures and reports progress on improvements using standard key performance indicators Requirements: A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and driving Lean Transformation within multiple locations Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a strong preference for a technical discipline, MS or MBA preferred. Has successfully led a minimum of 25 Kaizen Events Strong working knowledge of Lean tools & methodologies which include Standard Work, Value Stream Management, 5S, TPM, Material Replenishment, etc...
