Controls Simulation Integration Engineer, Milford, MI, General Motors. Plan & integrate simulation packages to test & validate controls SW for ECU in Software in Loop (SIL) &virtual Hardware in Loop (VHIL) environments, for Battery Electric Vehicle system including Traction Power Inverter, Electronic Brake Control, Vehicle Integration Control & Body Control Modules. Integrate simulation components into simulation package modeled using Simulink, AMESim, & CarSim tools. Use dSPACE Control Desk/VEOS, Virtualizer Studio, CANOE, VSpy, INCA, & MDA tools to assemble simulation packages. Perform tests on HIL test bench to correlate simulation packages integrated by VHIL team. Execute automation of existing test scripts to facilitate regression & on demand testing of Automotive ECU communication protocols including CAN, LIN & Ethernet using VHIL platform. Develop test scripts to execute automation of test cases in Design of Experiments matrix to facilitate testing of Model Predictive Controls in propulsion targeted SIL simulation packages. Master, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering, or related. 12 months experience as Engineer, planning & integrating simulation packages to test & validate controls SW for ECU in SIL environment for psgr vehicle, or related.
