Lead Engineering Project Planning & Execution
Lead the global, cross-functional engineering project team to execute project work packages and achieve on time delivery of program engineering development milestones according to internal/external processes and requirements.
Plan and manage the engineering project schedule including all major engineering activities.
Define and control technical project scope according to internal/customer requirements. Responsible for engineering change management within the project including technical decision making and cost/recovery management.
Drive execution of Engineering EEPM development process within the project and ensure on time engineering releases and work product delivery to support GDPIM process and gate releases.
Coordinate Simultaneous Engineering activities with Operations and Manufacturing to meet Operations goals and Design For Manufacturability (DFM) expectations.
Lead/support customer technical meetings to demonstrate schedule, technical design and engineering process compliance. Support strategic customer activities such as technology strategy updates.
Responsible for DRBFM Implementation at Project level
Ensure Engineering Quality within the Project
Ensure quality of project engineering releases and engineering deliveries to the customer.
Monitor project process and safety compliance together with EQA. Initiate countermeasures as needed.
Lead/support field quality analysis/investigations in cooperation with Quality/Operations teams
Regularly report project progress to internal/external stakeholders and support management reviews.
Maintain project reporting tools in time per Division rules.
7+ years of combined Hardware design and System engineering experience.
Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering Field (Master Preferred)
Demonstrable experience in working with global team and leading team efforts.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents such as customer requirements and international specifications.
Knowledge of Design tools and methods for High speed HDI designs
Knowledge of V cycle development and review methods
Design Knowledge for High speed digital & analog (Power supply, DSP, LPDDR) electronic components and circuitry
Capability to ensure design compliance to customer specifications
Capability to select appropriate materials and components
Capability to perform and interpret stack-up analysis and worst-case analysis
Capability to use lab tools, equipment, and techniques to verify proper functioning of circuit design
Knowledge of ASIC Analogue/Digital design and HDI PCB layout
Knowledge of Embedded development including CAN tools and UDS diagnostics
Knowledge of system requirement tools such as DOORS and PTC
Minimum requirement: Bachelor (4yr Degree) in Engineering filed, prefer Master Degree in Engineering.
