Work under general supervision to ensure safe and efficient operations. Completes required documentation and records.Your Responsibilities asaFacilities Maintenance Technician:Repair, maintain, clean, test and operate the equipment as instructed.Maintain and repair structures inside and outside of the hospital facility.Perform a wide variety of maintenance repairs, tests, and operations; not limited to buildings, facilities, equipment, utilities, and systems; using hand, power, testing, and specialized tools.Ability to accept direction and work with others.Ability to respond to facility emergencies at all hours and work pre-planned maintenance shifts that can include holidays, nights, and weekends.Other duties could include minor welding, plumbing and electrical repairs, carpentry repairs to walls, roofs, windows, or ceilings.Your Skills and Qualifications asaFacilities Maintenance Technician:High school diploma or equivalent required. One to two years maintenance, engineering and/or trades-related experience.Prefer 1-year experience in a clinical setting.
