Description

Constructs, repairs and maintains all structures, furniture, walls, machines, mechanical equipment, etc. to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs new construction and remodel of areas that may include framing walls, hanging doors, painting, installation of carpet, doors, electrical, plumbing, etc.
Monitors and performs preventative maintenance in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, etc.
Installs and repairs machines and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufactures specifications.
Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot, reports issues and repairs in a timely manner.
Supports a safety first environment, reports equipment malfunctions, orders services as needed.
Provides assistance in responding to fire alarms and other codes.
Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Performs functions that may affect a population newborn through geriatric.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Knowledge of general maintenance repairs, tools, etc.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
