A prominent and highly valued Careerlink partner is seeking a Fire Safety Designer to Provide CAD style design of fire sprinkler and suppression systems while assisting with project management of fire related installations.

Our Client, a leader in the Fire Safety industry is currenlty looking for a Fire Safety Designer to join their growing team.

This position is responsible for:

• Design position with continuous service to internal and/or external customers.
• Perform design, network and functional overview of fire sprinkler and suppression systems on a scheduled basis.
• Expected to render all services in accordance with manufacturer instructions, related codes/standards and Company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for design and project review with customers, as required.
• Read and comprehend plans and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including design, materials, fabrication, equipment, permits, subcontracts, consulting fees, and installation labor.
• Ability to write formal proposals and present to the general contractor.
• Interact with the general contractor in providing a work scope in conjunction with the estimate and proposal.
• Work with the Project Manager and Design Team in transition from estimating to design and management of awarded projects.
• Provide all necessary documentation for Company records, customer records, the authority having jurisdiction and any other entity as required.
