Kelly Engineering Resources has a great direct hire Mechanical Engineer- New Product Development role with global industry leader experiencing dynamic growth in the Sheboygan, WI area. **Mechanical Engineer- New Product Development Responsibilities:**

+ Manage NPD projects from concept into manufacturing

+ Validate designs through testing to meet performance, reliability, and durability targets.

+ Write functional specifications establishing design targets.

+ Approve the selection of all major purchased components (i.e., alternators, controllers, inverters, batteries, enclosures, etc.) and support the selection with sound engineering calculations.

+ Work with accounting and procurement functions to track actual project spending and product costs

+ Use project management skills to keep projects on schedule.

**Mechanical Engineer- New Product Development Requirements**

+ BS Degree in Engineering

+ 3-5 years of experience managing New Product Development projects
