Just look up.Are you ready to go beyond?We have an amazing Opportunity right now as a Plant Engineering Technician - Grade 88 - 1st ShiftJOB SUMMARYTypical tasks include, but are not limited to the following:Demonstrated ability to function independently and productively while providing multi-discipline engineering support to facilities operations and maintenanceContribute to long-term strategic development of a complex engineering project or function areaOrganize and provide written and/or verbal presentations of work with minimum input from supervisorBuild credibility within group by performing high quality workDemonstrates willingness to assist others with problemsEffectively communicates results of work at technical meetingsMeets and communicates with team management and members to assure proper dissemination of information throughout the department and site, as necessarySupports facilities, MTS and maintenance operations to ensure that all equipment is adequately maintained and functions efficientlyIdentifies new contractors to work at the facility and assures compliance to the proceduresDesigns and writes technical specifications and prepares detailed instructions for the fabrication and installation of plant equipment and related machineryPrepares capital requests for projectsExpected to successfully execute projects. The individual deals with problems of increased complexity requiring considerable modification of techniques and applications of new theories. Must be able to engage other disciplinesCoordinates start-up and commissioning of new equipment and/or facilitiesCoordinates, tests and troubleshoots new installationsEvaluates and prepares economic studies of new or modification to the facilitiesREQUIREMENTS10+ years of related experience or 7+ years of related experience with completed technical certificate/post-secondary degree in related fieldHigh School or General Equivalency DiplomaMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCollege degree preferredStrong engineering backgroundHigh level organizational, interpersonal and computer skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize multiple commitments and solve technical problems Working knowledge of Microsoft Office projectsWorking knowledge of Auto CADWorking knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70e, NFPA 79, and OSHA construction standardsRaytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
