Job Summary Reporting to Warehouse Platform Manager, you will manage the coordination and movement of materials throughout the plant, warehouse, outside storage, and yards. You will look for opportunities for improvement in material storage, process, reporting, and systems improvements. Manage the operating life of material handling assets and building infrastructure to allow correct products to be in the correct location in correct amounts in the most cost-effective manner. Follow all Food Safety and Quality Standards specifically SQF systems. You will: Monitor safety within the department to guarantee a safe and efficient operation Oversee training program for forklift operators Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and local plant policies Promote plant and department OIR targets and safety goals Shall understand that identification of any failures in these areas is their responsibility Monitor work methods to manage overall product to meet quality goals Manage, direct and control warehouse activities over all inventory levels on all shifts. Coordinate with ConAgra Fleet to ensure movement of product Support SAP systems, all training, and adherence to achieve plant goals Direct Leadership in ConAgra Performance Systems and implementation Directly coordinate shipping and receiving with plant locations & IMC's Manage outside warehouse by reviewing cost of storage and palletizing Help develop cost savings by participation in special projects and continuously improving warehouse process Lead and engage team members to in improve systems, processes and procedures. Lead by example and demonstrate corporate and plant values. Maintain team's adherence to employee handbook, GMP's and other plant policies and procedures. Coach team in personal accountability, giving and receiving feedback, root cause analysis, trade-off analysis, interpersonal communications and external interactions Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis. Seek and provide resources for team and provide necessary training to assist the team in reaching its goals.. Conduct frequent Safety coaching and implement safe work practices. Leads team in tracking and understanding goals, Gap Analysis, and creating action plans to address performance gap's Facilitate and react to non-routine and crisis situations. You have: High school diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelors' Degree in a supply chain, logistics or business related field 3+ years experience leading high performance teams and engaging team members to improve our results, including employee hiring and retention, development, performance reviews and discipline.
