Responsibilities:

Screens and controls employee, patient and visitor entering the premises to determine validity for access

Conducts building safety patrol to prevent and protect persons and property from theft and unlawful activity
Responds to fire alarms, hazards, disasters and other emergencies to assist and maintain crowd control
Monitors access, alarm and surveillance cameras to observe and respond to adverse activities

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

8 Hour pre-employment Security Course and 16 Hours on the Job Training Course
New York State Security Guard License
Security or military background preferred
